Pre-Use Preparation
- Check All Valves: Ensure both the torch’s gas regulator knob and any other connected valves are fully closed.
- Fill the Torch: Use a standard butane gas canister. Turn the torch and the canister upside down, and press the canister’s nozzle firmly into the torch’s filling valve. Do not fill for more than 30 seconds. After filling, let the torch stand upright for a few minutes to allow the gas pressure to stabilize.
Igniting and Adjusting the Flame
- Open Gas Flow: Slowly turn the gas regulator knob (usually a knob on the side or back) counter-clockwise. You should hear the faint sound of gas escaping from the nozzle.
- Ignite the Flame: Use a match, lighter, or sparker to ignite the gas at the nozzle.
- Adjust the Flame:
