Foredom® P-DP70 Drill Press Stand for H.MH-170 Micromotor Handpiece
With the Foredom® P-DP70 drill press stand, convert your Foredom H.MH-170 micromotor handpiece (available separately) into a drill press quickly and easily—ideal for creating precise vertical holes to repeatable, controllable depths in any material suitable for your handpiece, including metal, wax, gemstones, glass, plastic or wood. The ability to use your handpiece as a drill press greatly increases its versatility in your shop; you can use this function for:
- modeling work.
- reaming beads or other components.
- creating stone seats in bezels (countersinking).
- cutting flat areas into curved or angled surfaces (spot-facing) to ensure the strongest connection when attaching settings or flat findings to your designs.
In this stand, your handpiece is held securely in a perpendicular position above the flat work surface. Adjust the work surface to any height along the vertical support to accommodate just about any workpiece or, if necessary, simply rotate it to the back and out of your way completely.
The all-metal P-DP70 stand provides reliably sturdy support as you work and, if desired, can be permanently secured to a work surface using the pre-drilled anchor holes in its base (hardware is not included).
